Experience: Criminal Defense Attorney for 18 years
Never a prosecutor or State's Attorney
Successfully litigated the seminal "second stop" case of Ferris v. State, 355 Md. 356, in the Maryland Court of Appeals
- This case set the permissive boundaries for police/motorist encounters on our roadways

Completed the Advanced SFST Course and the NHTSA/IACP SFST Refresher Course

The only attorney in Maryland who is a factory trained Intox EC/IR breath test operator, calibration technician and instructor

The only attorney in Maryland who is a sole owner and in possession of the Maryland breath test machine, the Intox EC/IR

Also a factory trained operator and owner of the Maryland preliminary breath test machine, the Alco Sensor IV (PBT)
